About the event

The Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, RwandaUN Environment, UNDP and GIZis convening an Africa Cooling Efficiency Conference in Kigali, Rwanda, which will bring together approximately 40 cooling and energy efficiency stakeholders, decision makers and experts. We will hear about regional green cooling initiatives, highlighting progress and lessons learned from lowering costs of ownership, improving efficiency, and reducing impacts of cooling products. There will also be a look ahead on how to maximize future success by sharing best practices. We hope to secure commitments from a range of actors to collaborate across sector and borders on priority opportunities.

The Africa Cooling Efficiency Conference will convene from 8am until lunchtime on Wednesday 21 March, 2018. There will be an evening reception with a keynote speaker at 6pm. For those involved with the Cooling for All Global Panel (invite only) that will be in the same location on the afternoon of the 21st.

The conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel, KN 3 Ave, Kigali, Rwanda.
