About the event

The ClimateWorks Foundation’s Programs Team is delighted to host “2050 Today”, a strategy meeting designed to provide input on our 2050 Philanthropic Priorities for Climate Action. This meeting will cover a range of topics related to deep decarbonization, electrification, carbon removal/carbon sinks, innovation, and the transitions needed to achieve net-zero emissions globally by mid-century. This meeting will bring together experts, grantees, and funders interested in exploring 2050 strategies and outcomes.

Our venue, Hilton San Francisco Financial District, is located within walking distance of the ClimateWorks office and the Chinatown and North Beach neighborhoods.

As an organization, ClimateWorks Foundation is committed to being carbon-neutral. We will offset greenhouse gas emissions from ClimateWorks employees commuting to the event, air travel sponsored by our organization, and the estimated electricity use of the venue with Verified Carbon Standard credits purchased through Terrapass. In addition, all breakfast and lunch selections will be locally sourced pescatarian options.
