About the discussion

The 2050 Today virtual discussion "The pathway matters: eliminating super pollutants by 2050 for a cooler, healthier planet" is an invitation-only, reconfigured session of the recently postponed "2050 Today" event that was set to take place end of April.

Please register for the workshop before Friday, June 6th to receive prep materials and a Zoom link for the video conference.

DESCRIPTION:

The pathway to achieving an end to climate change, matters. The pathway that focuses on early reduction of super pollutants can yield significant health and sustainable development gains. The latest science tells us that we can reduce super pollutants—including methane, fluorocarbons, and black carbon—to save more than 2 million lives each year, enjoy cleaner air, and better grow food where it is most needed. ClimateWorks along with its partners are seeking to scale action. Join us to discuss how we might improve progress on reducing super pollutants both for human and ecosystem health and for climate.
